Senior Finance Business Partner with focus on Store Operations and Convenience
Picture yourself serving as a trusted advisor to the Danish management team in a global company, where your contribution can truly make a difference. Then imagine holding this meaningful position while working on what you do best – analysis, forecasting, and numbers.
Allow us to bring the vision to life! At Circle K we are looking for you, with experience from similar roles - ready to step into this position and become part of our ambitious and highly skilled team in the Performance Management Analytics (PMA) department, based out of our Danish Support Office in Copenhagen, Sydhavn, Denmark.
It’s a numbers game – and you’ve mastered it
Circle K is one of the leading companies in Denmark in the convenience, energy, and fuel delivery sector. In Denmark, Circle K operates two different brands – Circle K and INGO – spread across 435 locations, with 208 of those operated under the Circle K brand.
As a part of our PMA team, you will have 3 skilled colleagues you can consult with on financial matters. However, as you will be working with many different stakeholders, you will quickly learn that cooperation and collaboration across the organization is key – especially for this role. As Senior Finance Business Partner, you will be the responsible sparring partner to our Store Operations area, with all that it entails. Furthermore, you will be working closely together with our Finance Business Partner for the Convenience area, diving into cross-organizational analysis and business cases.
To be specific, your main responsibilities will be to:
* Partner with our operations organization to create transparency in financial figures and drive qualified decision-making through fact-based recommendations.
* Work closely with the business to identify challenges and optimization opportunities.
* Analyze business performance and bring financial insights and recommendations to management.
* Improve and execute budgeting and forecasting processes within your area of responsibility, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and alignment with other areas.
* Analyze and explain developments in month-end figures.
* Build and review business cases.
* Communicate and present business cases and ad hoc analysis to management and other stakeholders.
Your business acumen makes you the preferred advisor
To be successful in this role, we imagine you have a few years' experience from a similar role. Since you are used to managing the interests of many different stakeholders, you have already tested your ability to work in a structured and proactive manner in an ever-changing environment, where balancing tasks is key to success. You might hold a degree in Economics and Business administration, Accounting or Finance. Most important is however your authentic curiosity to understand causal relationships, developments, trends, and the willingness to dive into an Excel sheet full of numbers to grasp what is happening.
If you are an ambitious profile with solid understanding of finance processes, has an analytical mindset, and is motived to make a difference, you will be a great match for our team. As sparring-partner to the business it is also important that you are able to simplify complex issues and present them with confidence to all levels in the organization in an inspiring way that makes people listen.
As you become part of an international organization where you advise colleagues from different countries, it is necessary that you have excellent English skills. Proficiency in Danish is desired, although not a requirement.
On the right path – Come join us!
You will become part of an international organization in rapid development, working with many exciting initiatives re-defining the future of our business. Furthermore, when we say that diversity and sustainability are on the agenda, we mean it, and we care—also about future generations. We have several initiatives we would love to tell you more about when we meet.
Our four core values—One Team, Do The Right Thing, Take Ownership, Play To Win—reflect the culture you will become a part of. When joining the PMA team, you will learn that humor, professionalism and a willingness to take responsibility are significant parts of our DNA. If you have the same DNA, we will look forward to hearing from you.
